| The United Hill People's Development Society, Manipur is an Organisation of non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit making and non-governmental, managed by a group of eminent trained social workers to take up various activities for the welfare of the most disadvantage peoples, particularly CS/ST in the state of Manipur. | The organisation is registered under Manipur Societies Registration ACT, 1989,(Manipur ACT No. 1 of 1990 Government of Manipur bearing Registered number 201 of 1990, Registered under All Manipur Social Welfare NGO Forum and All Manipur NGO Forum Since inception working in the field of health and sanitation, Aged welfare Child welfare, Environment issues and other development activities in rural remote area in the State of Manipur. | It has conducted an extensive based-line survey assessing the actual needs and problems of the peoples of the areas with the local public at grass root level participation and attempted to implement various need-base programs accordingly with the ultimately aim it bring self-reliance among the target groups. |
